JGR Charity was established with a singular vision: to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity in the Region of Waterloo. Recognizing the dual challenge of skilled labour shortages and rising economic pressure on families in Galt, Preston, and Hespeler, we launched as a dedicated force for workforce development and poverty relief. 

We are not just a training center; we are a community safety net. By combining high-tech vocational training (Aviation & Trades) with essential social supports, we ensure that every resident—regardless of their background or financial status—has the pathway to build a sustainable, dignified livelihood.

JGR Charity operates as an independent registered charity, governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Our leadership team brings together experts from the fields of education, skilled trades, social work, and business management.

Our Board’s Mandate:

• Fiduciary Oversight: Ensuring every dollar donated or granted is allocated strictly to charitable programs in compliance with CRA regulations.

• Strategic Direction: Guiding the expansion of our "SkyHigh" and "Foundations" training programs to meet the evolving needs of the Ontario economy.
